● Do not use keratin or oil-based conditioners or shampoos as these will loosen the hold.
The 1/2” inch size is slightly wider than the actual weft, but some clients prefer it because they say it provides a stronger and longer hold.

How to take care of extensions:
By adhering to all the recommendations, your hair extensions should remain securely in place for up to four weeks and provide comfortable wear.
- Very important: Be sure you are using special tape for double sided extensions,because from regular tape you can experience "GUM" effect on your hair
- Brush extensions
- Don't go to sleep with wet hair
- Always dry extensions after washing them
- Low pony or braid before bedtime
- Use sulfate free/ oils free shampoo
- Moisturize extensions, but no oils, conditioners, hot tools on tape
- Don't brush hair when its wet
- No saunas, put your hair up on hot tubes/ hot springs, braid hair if you going to swim,
rinse after your swimming - We recommend washing your extensions 2-3 times a week
- Do move ups every 3-6 weeks or wherever its necessary

DIY Hair Extensions is amazing. I’ve purchased an original wavy brown kit. Which I absolutely love. I did purchase another 6” brown wavy piece which I cut in half to use throughout my head. I’ve also purchased the replacement tape and remover. I’ve colored these extensions and cut them to blend into my hair. These are the best extensions I’ve ever used. I recommend this company to everyone considering extensions.

I love the tape and hair extensions you can see them at all I. My hair these are so amazing.
Dark brown was sold out so had to color my extensions to match my hair and it matched exactly. Easy install and to take out. A litte residue was on my hair but sprayed the remover and used fine comb they give you to remove then washed a couple times and used a mask. The hair is very nice and thick. I'm a Hairstylist and seen a lot of hair extensions and DYI is my favorite. Definitely going to try thr wavy next time. 🫶🏼
